Trying to book an open jaw flight + a hotel and there is no mention of bonus Avios, nor an option of paying a deposit with the balance shortly prior to departure date which I always see when booking a straight flight + hotel package.

Is this a glitch in the BA system or simply a case of open jaw flights not being treated the same as regular flights as far as terms are concerned?
