Honestly, I love (and I mean LOVE) the AS Mileage Plan and I'm a happy camper, but the whole partner miles thing is one of my least favorite aspects of the program....talk about confusing....I've read post after post about people not getting their miles on DL or KLM or BA or AA or KE or whatever other partner they flew....the number of hoops you have to jump through is amazing...for instance, you have to be flying on a certain flight number, it can't be this fare class or that fare class (usually whatever one you're flying), it can't be marketed by one partner but flown by another....yikes!! This is one of the main reasons I keep all (or at least most) of my flying on AS metal and save my miles for mileage redemptions on partner airlines.
