NZ Silver = VA Silver? (baggage and other VA domestic Aus benefits)

It is clear that NZ Elites and Golds are treated like Velocity Plat. and Gold respectively when flying VA domestically in Australia on a VA-issued ticket (with no international segments). This has been my experience, as well as reported by the OP in this recent thread.

But what about NZ Silvers? Are they seen by the VA system as Velocity Silver?

(If so, that means NZ Silvers are allowed to check one bag on a VA domestic Saver Lite fare).

The official information sites are as clear as omission. VA redirects you to this NZ Site, which talks a lot about Gold/Elite benefits, but has nothing to say about reciprocal benefits for Silver.

So is there anyone with any experience as an NZ Silver flying VA domestically in Australia?
