I live in PHL and I haven't been to Atlantic City in years. There is nothing there that is worth the 60 minute drive let alone flying there. The "beach" is terrible, casinos are terrible, the outlet malls aren't worth it and the immediate vicinity around the casinos (by immediate, I mean literally one street away) are frightening. I don't blame AC for trying, especially given a revenue guarantee, why not, but I can't see this lasting at all.
