But Sir, There's A Nonstop Flight Available
I usually book my mileage runs on the web to avoid hassles at the CTO. But I had a $190.50 MCO to use, and an 8 segment $193 itinerary to purchase, so off to the CTO I went.
The conversation went some like this:
Agent: Please read me the flight numbers you want.
Me: NW #XXX from STC-MSP, NW #XXX from MSP-MKE.
Agent: And when are you returning from MKE?
Me: Well, I'm continuing from MKE on NW #XXX to MEM, and then NW #XXX to RDU.
Agent: But sir, you can fly nonstop from MSP to RDU.
Me: I know, but . . . .
I walked out 10 minutes later with an 8 segment e-ticket for $2.50. But I'm convinced that the agent thinks I'm crazy.
Anyone else?
