Looking at AVIOS (quite good availability) on the 787 to Chennai. All possible but wondering if anyone has stayed in Chennai and are able to get a 5am check in at hotel in town?

Located good Y class onwards to Sri Lanka (Colombo) for cash with Sri Lankan Air (hopefully they recognise BA exec club saphire) and we want to do this journey on to Colombo not on the same day arrival at Chennai but a couple of days later as it meets with our travel plans when in Sri lanka...

Is the J product good on the 787 on this route?

Anyone got early hotel check in Chennai?

Is visa relatively straight forward? Experiences? Quite expensive at over 80UKP but hey ho.....guess that is life!
