What's the success rate in getting back money that's "lost" due to a defective gift card in this situation? I know it's too early to think this but what are my options and rights if the card issuer doesn't refund my $505.95? Do I escalate by disputing this transaction with my credit card issuer? Thanks.
Does your receipt say it was "Activated" with the correct last 4-6 digits of the barcode?
