It would also seem that the agent didn't start over from scratch in my case, as when I called back in the next agent kept telling me it was an Expedia ticket.

The eCredit that I had tried to use is left over from an Expedia ticket, yes, but we weren't even able to use it for this ticket because they insist that I purchase something at least as expensive!!!
