I agree completely. It sure is an inferior product to me, as a frequent flyer. I have all kinds of perks and all kinds of miles to burn and I always use them going abroad, flying the alliances, etc. etc. And I started out yesterday booking this ticket on DL and I wanted all the good stuff, including the inflated mileage under the new program for a last second ticket.

BUT -- 70% more for a ride of 1 hour 20 minutes? That is just wasting (someone's) money, isn't it?

All I am saying is we need to shop before we buy.
I wasn't claiming that WN has more O&D between TPA and ATL but systemwide becasue they fly point to point rather than having a hub and spoke network like DL does. Also, I didn't claim that this means that fares are systemmatically different. I was just challenging the O&D claim in the post I quoted.
