I'm not sure what the cost is on the ferry to Viatape, but after you arrive there you still have a taxi (auto) fare to the hotel. Basically the airport is on a little island (motu) by itself... no roads, cars... only an airport and the employees get there by boat also...
I'm staying here in June. I stayed at the Hilton before and they offered to take me from the airport to the hotel for about US$95. I passed and instead took the FREE shuttle from airport to Vaitape provided by Air Tahiti, then took Hilton's small boat from Vaitape to the resort (US$7 pp, I think).
For my upcoming trip to Moana, I'm again going to take the Air Tahiti boat to Vaitape, but what are my options for ground transportation from Vaitape to Moana?
