Looks like the 86th Street station on the 4/5/6 lines is the closest station. That's what I'll be taking. The 4 and 5 are expresses and the 6 is a local. You can catch the 4 or 5 from Brooklyn Bridge station.
Or you can take the 1 to 86th St. and take the crosstown bus (M86) across the Park. It drops you a block before or after the restaurant. Check mta.info for Weekender Service Alerts.
