Update! To quote my wonderful wife "you only live once and we're never going to have the opportunity to fly on a 747 again," so she gave me the okeedoke to UPGRADE TO FIRST CLASS! We're now upstairs with the refined and well-heeled. 9 nights in Hawaii will be no match for this 9 hour plane ride!

We had to take first class from to DTW through to HNL, so our lavish experience is running an extra $944 PP. Ouch!
