Do enjoy the ride! I hadn't been in one since about 1987 when we moved away from NYC. But we managed to book a trip that included a westbound Atlantic crossing on a Lufthansa bird last summer. If you get the right seats, it is a magnificent plane. No longer all that cost effective from an airline perspective, but a treat to experience.

I doubt I'll manage a DL 747 in its golden years, but who knows? Fuel prices are down, maybe the'll keep 'em a little longer...
