this is entirely unscientific!

there have been much fewer BA ex-US sales in the past 2-3 yrs, and the sale prices are typically not anywhere near as good as the much more common BA ex-UK sale prices for the same routes etc.

I have also been looking at man-jfk on AA, and on searching the AA forum, it seems there have been very few ex-uk AA sales in the past 2-3yrs, although there were frequent sale fare threads before that date.
