Yes it may work, but it's fraught with potential problems, too many things could go wrong as soon as you get registered with Ready To Fly after requesting your bag. It may end up in Dublin after all.

I have to say that if you are doing this level of complexity you really need to be Hand Baggage Only. Or add more time to the connection.
