Yes, it's not just that the same food seems to be served on the outbound and return flights. There's an issue of lack of variety throughout the system.

Case in point: I had 6 flights from mid-October to early November. Of those 6, one was a breakfast flight and one was a cookie flight, so those don't count.

The other 4 all had the same food -- a half turkey sandwich and a slaw-like side. And they were completely different routes (ANC-SEA, SFO-PDX, ANC-ORD, SEA-SFO).

By the beginning of November I definitely didn't want to see another turkey sandwich for a very long time. How hard would it be to have some variety?
