OT, but: There was supposed to be an overnight train running through the Chunnel from England to the continent. It was to be called the "Euronightstar" or something similar. This would have come in handy for those looking to sleep on the rails, rather than in the air for TATL to France.

The equipment was partially built, then sold to Canada where it was fitted out and now runs between Montreal and Halifax overnight.
