Because if these reports are true that KLM flights have these questions too, then you can't really blame the US govt. Because when you fly to the US from other cities here in Europe on Euro carriers, you do not get these questions. I flew LHR-LAX a couple weeks ago on BA, as I do very often, and there were no questions at all. I guess that BA doesn't take any possible US demands as seriously as KL.

But when I flew a few months earlier on AA DUS-ORD, then AA had to ask me the questions because they are a US carrier.
