and just to keep this thread alive :-), my next question is: how long does it typically take EK miles to post to UA?

C class on Emirates. Wow weeee, quite nice. The multi-ethnic and exceedingly friendly crew was a very pleasant surprise. The Dubai airport was so delightful (light years more modern and nicer than the Mumbai airport I started off at and the Cairo airport I ended at).
