I came back to Etihad after a one year hiatus primarily for the chauffer service for business class. I booked a BOM-JFK-AUH-BOM and was really peeved off when I found out that chauffer service is no longer available for Z class.
Being a long time Gold guest member the least one could expect was some prior notice of this change via email to its guest members. Doing it this way is pretty underhanded of Etihad
No incentive anymore for me to fly Etihad as this service was one of the biggest differentiators for Etihad.
Have emailed them but no real response yet.
I guess it's Delta/Virgin for me next time on.
