You didn't mention if you're looking for premium cabins or not. I know SQ has some very competitive prices on the A380 NRT-LAX in all cabins, so you may find similar on the JFK-FRA route. One thing to bear in mind though if flying economy is the time it takes to unload one of these big birds if you get stuck in the back and a potential 500 people in front of you at passport control.
