I am a little confused here

is the word stance unusual when referring to buses and just wondered why it made you smile ?

I don't want to be accused of taking the thread off topic too much so I will add--------

the whole tram issue was controversial from day one but I hope that considering how much it cost that people will use it and it will pay its way in the end---but people will use what they feel is best for them
