Stayed at 4 different lower level properties last week - Hamptons and HGIs, all eastern washington stats (spokane, yakima, pasco). None had higher than 3 down / 3 up. I bit the bullet and got a LTE hotspot a few years back, and rarely rely on hotel internet, its unfortunate, but it seems to be par for the course..
