Having flown FRA - DOH - PEK - ICN and return once years ago, still not keen to use QR (that I found rather symphatetic) anywhere north of HKG.

BKK, SIN and even HKG AY (and SK) flights might suffer quite a bit in the future, but no sane business passenger in western, central or northern Europe would prefer to travel to most of China, Japan or Korea via the ME.

Routes like Brazil to Asia then might be ideally suited for QR if the co-operation with CX is really as smooth as it seems. Avoiding US immigration is a big plus for travellers in that market.
