I'm looking to book a trip from Toronto to Colombo in the next couple of months through Emirates (they seem to be the cheapest).
The layover is 15hr 15mins in DXB.
Will an economy booking provide free hotel?
According to their site DubaiConnect is the following:

Economy Class passengers for whom the best connection time is not available and they get a transit of more than eight hours and less than 24 hours upon arrival in Dubai. (Further conditions apply*)
Anyone have any idea what the further conditions might be? I tried to call the call centre and they weren't helpful at all.
