CX has stopped receiving booking for Middle East flights. Wondering which aircrafts would have no PE configuration considering its a rather long flight of 8-9 hours duration. Hopefully they don't offer the regional products which would surely see them lose out on business class segments.
I do read that they removed some PE seats and replaced with Economy seats on A330. Wonder if they will fly these instead of a 100% no PE aircraft
At the moment, only A340-300 B-HXB has no PE -- but it isn't often assigned to long-haul any more. As 2015 goes on, the 13 33G A330-300s will have PE removed. These are the frames that perform much of the Middle East routes. They will continue to perform these flights after the W class goes away.
