I can understand the frustration having gone through it a few times last year.

After racking up almost 8K since mid-'02 things kinda went dead last summer for me and since then have managed a paltry 600-odd points without purchases. The number and frequency or e-mails arriving has dropped right off (and yes, i've done the spam filter check to make sure weren't getting misdirected). At this rate I'll only be at approx 1K/year and am also wondering if it's worth it.
