I meant the Langham is very british I wasnt impressed with browns - wondeful staff with cockney doorman which was a nie touch, but the corridors were dark and depressing and stairs everywhere and our room was tiny with little soundproofing. We really didnt like it. I checked out upgrading to their suite at the top of the building but that still had an ikea feel and was opposite mobile phone masts which i didnt want my cells to have to endure... so we left a day early and went to the langham instead. Of course this is personal preference but for me this was not a luxury hotel.
