No desire to burst your bubble but I've been upgraded E to J on EK at the gate on at least three occasions and I'm not a freqflyer with them, therefore whilst what they did for you was great IMO I don't think it's as exceptional an occurrence as you'd like to believe. Concurring with most other replies here: don't contact the airline, if you want them to feel the love then book more flights with EK....
