Currently staying here for a 2 night stay (and in the midst of the Plat Challenge).
Initial impressions:
Parking - hard to find the real entrance. I had to circle around a couple times, then decided to do the public parking structure option rather than hotel valet.
Location - great option here. Many trendy restaurants within walking distance.
Price - I caught the Thursday and Friday night cheaper company rates (less than W and ivy). There were even standard king classic prepaid rates of $97 base for personal stay.
Front desk - very helpful and polite. Even acknowledged I was an spg rewards member. I'm new to spg, so not sure if they always do that? Asked if I wanted the green choice option. Called 10 min after I was settled into my room to check and make sure everything was ok.
Ambiance - nice restaurant downstairs. Interesting art gallery in lobby. Didn't like the hallways that much. Very easy to hear noise from the hallway. Doors closing will be noticed for sure.
Room decor - not bad ... I didn't mind all the white. Furniture seems a bit out of style at this point. Need to get new chairs. Liked the lights and lighting.
Bed - comfortable so far. Solid bedding.
Bathroom - very impressed here. Heated floor and nice large glass doors to shower. Could use a bit more water pressure to rain shower head. Enjoyed the slanted modern sink design. Strange that the tv in bathroom would turn on every time I turned on living room tv.
Will use the gym tomorrow. So far, impressed with my stay and would recommend it to someone who can find it for up to $150/ night.
