Help get Mosaic Status back

So back in Oct I was booking a flight through the Mosaic help desk (have had Mosaic status for three years) and during that conversation the Rep indicated I was almost at Mosaic for 2015. She indicated she could rebook one of my flights right then to get the double points offer running for existing Mosaic customers and that I only needed to take make three more segments. I had three round trips planned for Nov/Dec and completed them.
Fast-forward to Jan 5 and I call to move one of my flights this month and they indicate that there would be a $100 rebooking fee. I called Mosaic and they said I had enough segments but was only 800 points shy and therefore didn’t make Mosaic status for 2015. I was transfered to two agents who both indicated there was nothing they could do for me. I wrote their customer support division and was told twice, that even though their representative led me astray I was still responsible and that the system is automated and they couldn’t give me Mosaic (and that they wanted to treat everyone equally).

So my question is does anyone know another way to attempt to elevate this and try and get my status back. The addition of a checked bag fee and the inability to rebook without paying (my plans change regularly) is going to really hurt.

Any suggestions or known avenues would be helpful.
