I have the "Eat, Drink and Earn" requirement: I need to spend 290 USD on food or beverages.

These are the conditions:
"Food or Beverage spend applies to in-hotel actual spend on Food & Beverage (excluding room service, mini-bar, applicable service fee, tax, discount amount and any other items determined at IHG’s® discretion) at all Food & Beverage outlets (excluding the outlets not managed by IHG®) during your stay and must be charged to the room bill at check out. This Offer does not apply to any food included in the room rate, for example 'bed & breakfast' or 'dinner, bed & breakfast' rates."

Now apart from room service, which does not count, I often have breakfast in the hotels, using a Bed&Breakfast rate for example at HI. This also does not count. But if I book a room only rate, and have breakfast in the hotel, which is seperately invoiced to my room, is this breakfast rate going to qualify for the bonus or not?
