We usually wash them after we use them...who wants to leave a pile of dirty dishes laying around?

On our final day, we typically load the dishwasher but don't run it. I know housekeeping will just run it again anyway, so it seems like a waste to clean the dishes twice.

Usually just hand-clean them prior to first use. I know housekeeping has cleaned them, but if the villa has been unoccupied for a few days, they might be a bit dusty. (Or in a Residence Inn type place, it simply may have been a few guests since the dishes were used, as RI gets a lot of short-stay guests too.) Since I don't know, I just clean them even if they *look* clean.
