I booked an economy ticket involving LH, A3 and LX segments last night through Lufthansa.com. Purpose was to upgrade the A3 segment to business through a coupon.
Turns out that A3 does not allow upgrades on tickets not issued by themselves. So I am wondering if I should cancel online within 24h, and instead book an alternative (cheaper) flight.
The ticket purchased yesterday was paid for through iDeal. How would the money be refunded in this case? As far as I know the iDeal mechanism does not support refunds, and I do not believe that my bank account is shared with the merchant. Can I choose online how the money would be refunded, or would I have to chase the refund request and make them return the money manually?
Does anybody have experiences with this? Thank you!
