In 2010 the BBC broadcast a comedy series entitled “Come Fly with Me” which was based in a fictional airport (Stansted is where the airport scenes were shot I believe). The programme was narrated in the style of a fly-on-the-wall documentary and featured a number of characters who bore an amazing resemblance to real life participants in the Airport series. My favourite character was the First Class stewardess who flew for the fictional international flag carrier Great British Air, I have yet to meet her match on EK, or BA for that matter :-)
