Thanks for all the suggestions. I was online making my purchase through United MileagePlus Mall, but when it came to shipping I couldn't believe it was going to cost $45 for next day air (my brother's birthday!), so I called the 800 number. Their computers were apparently messed up. Instead costing anywhere from $40-$50 (as two separate CSRs said was standard), it came up as $10. So, I decided to give up the miles, place my order over the phone, and take the $35 savings instead. I love miles as much as the next guy, but...
