I really like to restaurants in Harrow/Brent/Wembley - they are more Gujarati, Punjabi style, my fav all rounder places that we can go to and know we get a good meal are
Blue Ginger http://www.bgrestaurant.com/
Everest http://www.everestlounge.com/
Purple Flame - no website

If I have a specific craving few others come to mind - if you want a particular dish I can recommend.

Normally I avoid the mains and just have starters as they are really good e.g. lamb chops, tandoori chicken, fish masala, chilli paneer etc but they go have really good mains that are not too oily which is a key thing for me and all make really good fresh naan.

For really good Masala Dosa, Thali's, Bhajiya's etc there are number of specialist places that provide this around the same area - again I can suggest my fav's if you have a particular item you want to try.
