Well we don't know the numbers... Maybe he gets more hits and sign ups with this style of writing? I remember a time when the History Channel offered educational material worth watching and then decided to change the content to pull in more advertising dollars. I do have to say it is ironic that one of the biggest complaints is that we don't like bloggers to spoon feed everyone deals, but we want them to spoon feed us trip reports and tips and tricks on booking to save us the time digging. There is something to be said about a consistent trip report style. We provide a lot of opinion on what we don't like about each blog, but typically refuse to click their CC links which is how they make most of their money.
