Unlike your positive experience both my wife and I are extremely underwhelmed by Emirates. From seats (777-300) to services, meals and overcrowded lounges - do not understand the hype. Lots of bells and whistles but overall they just do not deliver. Overnight CPT-DXB had 3 hour dinner service and 1 hour breakfast (yes woken up despite asked not to). Seats not that comfortable. Food mediocre - not even close to C food offerings on TK, LX or EY. Full C cabin on both flights feel crowded with 2+3+2 lyout and only two bathrooms. Was not allowed to use economy bathroom citing security concerns. Almost 2.5 hours for breakfast service on DXB-SEA. Dubai is crowded as hell and so are the lounges. Waited 30 minutes to take shower. The only redeeming factors are ICE and decent wines.
