That's correct, you can't do that routing. Your destination would be YGK, and you can go through YYZ on the way out. On the way back, you can go through YYZ again. If you tried YXU, you'd be hitting a city a 2nd on either end of your destination, and it wouldn't even give you the opportunity to book that. Not sure if the backtracking would also hit you if you were to attempt something like that if the 3 times in one city didn't work out.
BTW, you're allowed one stopover within Canada (and transborder to USA) on a reward ticket, in addition to the destination.
