Unhappy Disruptive children (and parents) in the T5 F Lounge (Terrace)

Hi,

just wanted to report this. Last Friday afternoon I spent one hour before my flight in the T5 F Lounge, in the Terrace as usual.

For those who know how the Terrace configuration looks like, as soon as I went outside I noted a couple with 2 children aged ca 4-5 years occupying the entire double row of sofas on the right which by the way could easily accomodate 8 pax.

After sitting 10 minutes on the last sofa on the right (the one facing the windows and the tarmac) I noted both children jumping on the sofas barefoot and running barefoot across the entire terrace making quite a noise. On top of that they were screaming all time. Of course the parents were just reading newspaper ignoring their children (mis)conduct.

After 30 minutes of this going on I just suggested to the parents at least to not allow their children to jump on the sofas barefoot for hygienic reasons and I also reminded them the lounge is not a playground.

The father had a very bad reaction to my note, he phisically came straight to me saying that I had the option to leave the Terrace if I was bothered, as others did. I replied the inside was packed and that I wanted to relax in the Terrace. At that point he said to me "I don't give a sh**"....

Thanks goodness my gate was announced and I left the lounge.

What kind of reaction would you have had in these circumstances?
