But we do not say that you have what you order when you make your selection, as it says on the menu "we apologies if your first choice isn't available" and that's what we do if your choice isn't available.
It's irrelevant whether you guarantee first choice or not. If it's presented as an option and then denied to me, I will miss it much more than if it wasn't an option at all - guaranteed or not. (Assuming I'd actually want it of course!)
