You get way more Hilton points if you apply for new Hilton card than if you spend on an existing one. Currently you get 50k points for a Citi Hilton Card with just $1000 spend (in the first 4 months). So I would suggest doing that for Hilton, then putting the rest of your spend (which is now $19000) toward something else. Then next year* get another Hilton card for another 50k with another $1000 spend.

(*At this moment if you use the right link you can get a Hilton 50k card several times a year. That may or may not change soon to only once every 18 months. But 50k once every 18 months still get you more HHonors points than $10000 spend every year!)
