I remember in the old day, all flt with the odd numbers would go east bound and even numbers would go west bound. Most likely that the same flight from AAA-BBB with the same equipment would have the same flight number. Now a day, it is all over the place. I have been on the same flight with the same equipment but different flight number just a couple days apart.
