It looks like "jacpot" hit the jackpot with his guess. According to John at Webflyer (see his answer to my post in the Technical Issues forum), the icon was changed at the request of Aeroplan. But now that the RD chat is over, how about changing it back to a more readily identifiable AC logo.
All the airlines have the AIRLINE logo as the icon, not the frequent flyer plan of the airline as the icon.
