Begining to feel a lesson learnt here about straying from BA!

Called JAL and they said nothing to do with them as flight is marketed by Finnair and operated by JAL with a AY flight number. They did after a little persuasion, provide me with JAL PNR abut said this would make no difference. Correct when enter PNR on JAL with name etc made no difference and the site anyway insists on a JL flight number being allotted. I did on second attempt put in that JL flight number but no recognition. Trid to phone Finnair (premier number charge rate) and gave up after 15 minutes on hold.

Probably the last time I decide to do this routing and carrier.....any other thoughts on how to be J seat alloacted on JL metal with AY flight number?

Also another swipe at JL, (not really for the AY forum) but amazingly I am booked J Class on a JL flight between Tokyo and Osaka and even now they cannot allocate a seat for me in the J cabin as they "dont do this for domestics until 2 months prior to departure"...what a nonsense!
