Just returned from PHX and had CW service in new first. We expected old, so what a nice surprise. Nobody else seemed surprised though, so perhaps a new first plane often turns up.

I assume there will be an increasing change of new first on some of these routes as planes get refurbished. I'll expect old first, but for me the potential of new first is worth the upper deck trade off.
