Flights from HKG-BWN although may come with a KA flight number are operated by Royal Brunei (BI).

There are very few airlines that operate in/out of BWN and the only OW airline is MH.

When are you looking at going in May? BA start flying to KUL on 27th May which could connect to MH for those all important TP's/Avios.

Sorry can't help with ITA.
