Following along my theme of the week, food while flying on AC...

The meals below are from my earlier YYZ-HND-YYZ on the 788, and were served in Premium Economy (yes, I know this thread is about J meals, but I thought it better to post here than start a new thread)

The IFE is a great way to post the menu.

This salmon meal was one of the best meals I've ever had on an AC international flight. Excellent flavor, cooked perfectly and nice presentation.

Yes, that cappuccino cake. Somehow, it didn't interest me. Again.
A few minutes later, an FA shows up with the chocolate lava cake. Apparently there was a spare . Waaaay better.

On the return flight, I chose this meal. It was outstanding and I would vote it as the best one I've had on any flight. Vegetables were crisp, teriyaki chicken was perfectly cooked and had excellent flavor. ^

Dessert was interesting. None of us knew what it was, a few people used their forks to try and figure it out. Someone thought it was a rice cake. One guy takes a bite and says "Apple Strudel, wow", loud enough for the rest of us to hear.

Whoever came up with this deserves and award. It tasted exactly like the usual strudel, but with a unique look.
