I suggest you need to read the regulations - there is no requirement to follow EVERY instruction given by the crew. I can send you the links to IATA,FAA, CAA etc which talk about passenger responsibilities during flight and the requirement to follow safety instructions from the crew. There is no requirement to follow every instruction from the crew as you state.
I shall reword my earlier statement:
If the crew tell you that you are not permitted to use something, or go into a particular part of the aircraft, you are required to follow their instructions.
I am well aware of the rules given by the FAA, CAA etc. I apologise if my wording meant my meaning was not evident.
